Bride to be with her fabulous hosts
Tis the season for jumping into full gear on those plans for Spring weddings and we have several in our family this year.
My cousin, Jessica, is going to stroll down the aisle this April so my Mom, sisters and I decided to host a Bridal Shower/Brunch for her this month.
It was loads of fun ~ But we definitely took the path of least resistance when it came to planning and organizing the event. We are true fans of a local Bed and Breakfast that does a great job with small and medium sized events. Walnut Lane Inn is a beautiful southern plantation home surrounded by century old oaks and lots of charm. ( I highly recommend this Walnut Lane if you ever find yourself planning your event in our area.)
The owners took care of everything so that we could just focus on Jessica. (Side Note - It's funny how wedding planning can bring out the best and worst in people. We had a few grumpy guests that required a little extra southern charm and persuasion to get them to participate in all the fun ~ But fortunately, Jessica's spirits weren't dampened by their "wet blankets")
We laughed, cried, ooh'd and ah'd and hopefully created some great memories for the Bride to be! Now we just wait for the big day....
